1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the DANSE mobile application and website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

DANSE is a platform that enables users to:

  • Discover dance workshops, festivals, and events worldwide
  • Purchase tickets to dance events
  • Connect with event organizers and other dancers
  • Access event information, schedules, and updates

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as needed
  • Keep your password confidential and secure
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

4. Ticket Purchases

4.1 Transaction Processing

DANSE facilitates ticket purchases between users and event organizers. When you purchase a ticket:

  • You are entering into an agreement with the event organizer
  • DANSE acts as an intermediary for the transaction
  • All sales are subject to the event organizer's terms and conditions

4.2 Refunds and Cancellations

Refund policies are determined by individual event organizers. DANSE is not responsible for refunds unless the event is cancelled by the organizer. In case of event cancellation:

  • Refunds will be processed according to the organizer's policy
  • Processing may occur within 5-10 business days
  • Service fees may be non-refundable

4.3 Pricing

Ticket prices are set by event organizers. DANSE may charge service fees, which will be clearly displayed before purchase completion.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Resell tickets in violation of event organizer policies
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by DANSE and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any portion of the Service without our express written permission.

7. Event Organizer Terms

If you use DANSE as an event organizer, you additionally agree to:

  • Provide accurate event information
  • Honor all ticket purchases made through the platform
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintain appropriate insurance for your events
  • Pay applicable fees as outlined in your organizer agreement

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. DANSE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

DANSE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE QUALITY, SAFETY, OR LEGALITY OF EVENTS LISTED ON THE PLATFORM. ATTENDANCE AT EVENTS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DANSE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DANSE and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Zürich, Switzerland.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
